Father's Day Wine and Cheese

Treat Dad right this Father's Day with a scenic trip to Union for great food and drinks. Once again, we will be teaming up with Sweetgrass Farm Winery and Distillery to offer Dad a memorable day of wine, spirits, and cheese.
We will be hosting Appleton Creamery, an artisan cheese maker who has been winning awards with their cheeses since 1996. Appleton Creamery has a diverse selection of cheeses produced from the milk of their own herd of goats, as well as both sheep and cow's milk. Come experience their fan favorite, chevre, in a variety of flavors including rounds marinated in olive oil with roasted garlic and herbs paired with our award winning wines.
Samples of our farm fresh sausage in a variety of flavors will be served for pairing or to be enjoyed on their own.
Also on hand will be Roger Casey of Roger’s Copper Creations. His art is crafted from copper and the iridescent colors on each work are created with carefully applied heat. Each piece is unique and clearly states his love of and inspiration from nature. During your visit, take a walk to the vineyard to see ours grapes in full bloom.
Then travel 5 miles through the scenic hills of Union to Sweetgrass Farm Winery and Distillery, producer of wines, ports, and spirits including the popular Back River Gin, to see what combinations they have planned for you.

As always, winemakers and cheesemakers are on hand to discuss their wines, cheeses, and pairings. What could be better than a ride in the country, Maine cheese, and wine?
